Radiant coatings for glass and plastic

Category:

Description

UV curable coatings can be used to create a variety of properties to polymer surfaces, including reducing light radiation, abrasion or scratch resistance, anti-fog, microbial resistance, and chemical resistance. Computer screens, keyboards, and other personal electronics are baked with a UV-curable coating. Coatings are usually applied to plastic substrates by spraying, dipping, rolling, flowing and other processes. UV curable coatings are often specified for plastic parts because the process does not require heat, as heat can distort the shape of the plastic.
